The Martin Luther King Jr. Parade will begin its procession at the James P Austin Community Center, travel to Lincoln Avenue, to First Street, to Park Avenue, to Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., to Sessoms Avenue and end at the community center. We are encouraging all churches, organizations, individuals and groups in Lake Wales and the surrounding areas to take part in this year’s parade. The application fee for the parade is $20.00. Event vendor and parade applications can be picked up from The B Street Center,230 B Street, Lake Wales, Fl. 863-679-8091 between the hours of 8:00 and 12:00 or Kimbrough & Associates, 24 W Orange Avenue, Lake Wales, Fl. 863-679-3896 or by calling Marilyn McKnight 863-595-5195, Narvell Peterson 863-528-2534, Evelyn Lewis 863-528-0256. Vendor spaces are still available, 10 x 10 spaces is only $75.00 for four days.
